Fox Run Taxidermy is a veteran-owned, licensed and insured taxidermy service in Hastings, NE. It is owned and operated by Josh Johnson, a longtime resident of Hastings. Josh grew up enjoying the outdoors and learning a love for Gods creation.

Josh joined the United States Army right out of high school. He's a combat veteran who spent time in Iraq. After the military Josh moved to Hastings and attended Central Community College where he received an Associates of Applied Science degree.

In 2020, Josh met his wife on a blind date, and they now have a son and a daughter. Josh and his wife are Christians and have a personal relationship with God, which affects every part of their lives, including their work ethic. Every mount Josh works on, he completes to the best of his ability.

Prior to Josh attending taxidermy school, he attended a week-long workshop with Master Taxidermist Todd Kranau in Blue Hill, NE. Josh attended Wild Trophies Taxidermy School in Winfield, Missouri, where he was taught techniques and skills by Master Taxidermist Bruce Owens. Josh has also gained experience by being a member of the Nebraska state taxidermy association.
